Dual Wavelength UV Absorption Analyzer

The AF46 is a dual wavelength, high precision UV light absorption analyzer designed for inline operation to provide accurate concentration measurements with remarkable repeatability, linearity and resolution. Wavelength and optical path length can be individually configured to specific requirements for the highest accuracy.

The AF46 is a dual wavelength UV analyzer ideally suited to monitor protein concentrations (e.g., monoclonal antibodies) in downstream biotechnology applications such as chromatography or filtration. Using two different wavelengths the sensor is capable of detecting very low protein concentrations for accurate pooling and at the same time is able to monitor the whole elution peak with very high optical density (OD) using a second wavelength.

Besides protein measurements the sensor is often used to monitor nucleic acid contaminations of protein solutions. Due to the modularity different optical path lengths (OPL) and wavelengths can be combined to measure any product absorbing in the UV range.
