1985 Model 110/AF10 controls centrifuge
The first instrument (Model 110/AF10) successfully controls a centrifugal separator

Founders testing Absorption and Turbidity Sensors 1986
Six motivated employees join the team at our first 2,200 square foot facility in Essen, Germany

1990 optek old Headquarters
optek GmbH moves to a larger facility with 9,700 square feet (and a loading ramp)

1993 Netherland Flag
Branch operation opens in The Netherlands
