Light from a Tungsten lamp (5) is filtered by a VIS or NIR filter (4), precisely defined by the optics module (3), passes through a sapphire window (2), and then through the process stream (1). The resulting light is detected by a photo diode (6).
The resulting photocurrent is precisely amplified, converted, and analyzed by the converter. The converter provides real time measurements and can send outputs to the process control system.
